Your privacy is important to us. At Archimedes’ Offspring (AOS), we have a few fundamental principles:
- We are thoughtful about the personal information we ask you to provide and the personal information we collect about you through the operation of our digital offerings and services.
- We store personal information for only as long as we have a reason to keep it.
- We aim to make it as simple as possible for you to control what information on our digital offerings is shared publicly.
- As an organization, we highly value transparency and we aim for it when we gather, use, and share your personal data.
Below is our Privacy Policy, which incorporates and clarifies these principles. Our Privacy Policy is reviewed at least annually and updated to reflect any changes.
Who or what is AOS?
AOS is an unincorporated business organization (commonly referred to as a “Massachusetts Business Trust” or “MBT”) formed pursuant to that certain Trust Agreement dated as of the 31st day of March, 2019 (the “Trust Agreement”), by and between FLC LLC, a Colorado limited liability company doing business as “FLeCusa International,” as Grantor, Windom Peaks Capital, LLC, a Colorado limited liability company, as Trustee, and the Invention Families identified on this website, each of which has been designated a beneficiary / beneficial owner under the terms of the Trust Agreement.
AOS provides online tools and services to assist potential inventor-clients, investors, and others with investments in inventions, not start-ups. Under our various programs, inventors can secure investments to fund commercialization of their inventions. To find out more about the AOS Inventor Assistance Program, click here.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser. You can refuse or delete cookies. Most browsers and mobile devices offer their own settings to manage cookies. If you refuse a cookie, or if you delete cookies from your device, you may experience some inconvenience in your use of our digital offerings. For example, you may not be able to sign in and access your account, or we may not be able to recognize you, your device, or your online preferences. Both AOS and third-party service providers we hire may use cookies and other technologies, such as web beacons, pixel tags, or mobile device IDs, in online advertising.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for several days, and screen options cookies last for approximately one year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for a few weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Technical and navigational information
When you use our digital offerings, we may collect technical and navigational information, such as device type, browser type, operating system, Internet Protocol address, pages visited, and average time spent on our digital offerings. We use this information for a variety of purposes, such as facilitating site navigation, improving website design and functionality, and personalizing your experience.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Advertising
On the AOS website and elsewhere, AOS advertises its digital offerings. When we do, we may use information about your relationship with us, to tailor advertisements and communications about products and services that may be of interest to you. We may also use third-party service providers to help us determine products and services that may be of interest to you. These service providers may collect information about your activity on our digital offerings using cookies and other technologies to analyze, for example, pages visited, search engine referrals, browsing patterns, and responses to advertisements and promotions. Such service providers may only collect and use information for purposes specified by us and not for their own purposes.
Who we share your data with
We may share your data with our affiliates, partners, unaffiliated service providers, and both federal and state government entities and organizations, as may be required by law. Our affiliates and partners may help us offer services and features to you. Unaffiliated service providers can include, for example, printing and mailing companies, marketing service providers, and other entities who may provide services at our direction. Our service providers are obligated to keep personal information we share with them confidential and use it only to provide services specified by AOS. Government entities and organizations as permitted or required by law may require information, for example, for law enforcement, fraud prevention, or in response to a duly-issued subpoena.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. Each user can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
How we use your data
We may use your data for the following purposes, among others: to process transactions that you have authorized us to make; to facilitate your activities with respect to our digital offerings and services; to contact you regarding administrative issues, such as questions we may have about your specific request, or otherwise respond to your comments or requests; to verify and authenticate your identity and to help us ensure that the individuals who use the digital offerings and services are who they claim to be; to prevent, detect, mitigate, and investigate fraud, security breaches, and potentially prohibited or illegal activities, including, for example, activities prohibited by the Federal Bank Secrecy Act and its implementing regulations (i.e., the “Anti–Money Laundering” or “AML” rules); to help us operate our digital offerings and services; to deliver notices regarding your account; to comply with government requirements and for tax reporting purposes; to provide you with information, such as notices of investment opportunities via our digital offerings; to send you information we believe is relevant to you, such as news, bulletins, marketing materials, or other information; to enforce this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use; to conduct user surveys and questionnaires; and to comply with applicable law.
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
Data security
We utilize commercially-reasonable security systems designed to prevent unauthorized access to or disclosure of your data, and we take reasonable steps to secure and safeguard this information against loss, theft, and unauthorized use, disclosure, or modification. Nevertheless, there is no such thing as complete security of networks, servers, computers, and databases. For example, email sent to or from us or our digital offerings may not be secure. Before submitting any personal information, please be aware of these inherent risks and understand that you do so at your own risk
